Attackers and Defenders take turns trying to outsmart each other to occupy the castle in this face-to-face tabletop game designed exclusively for Across the Board. Assault is a unique board game for two players of all ages. The rules are simple enough for children, yet the strategy involved is still challenging for adults. There are two Defenders against 24 Attackers. The design of the board and the rules make for a balanced contest. The Assault game board is a maple veneer with a high-grade medium-density fiberboard core that won't warp or crack. Set comes with 24 black marbles, 2 red marbles, and directions. Approximate dimensions are 11 3/4″ x 11 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ and the game weighs nearly 3 pounds.
